DESCRIPTIONJob summaryAmazon is looking for a smart, motivated, and analytical Credit Specialist to join our creditteam. He or she will have responsibility for providing a thorough credit risk assessment for different Amazon business channels, including data driven assessment of the portfolio risk. The analyst will own end to end execution of Risk Mitigation workflow to safe guard Amazon Exposure. This willinvolve high judgment and frequent interaction with internal stakeholders and leaders toensure decisions are sound, compliant and well understood. The Credit Analyst will also support the monitoring and risk management of the entire accounts receivable portfolio. The successful candidate will have a good desire in innovating processes, good attention to detail and exceedexpectations in a dynamic, fast-paced and often ambiguous environment.
Key job responsibilities Evaluate credit applications – analyzing data from financial statements, credit referenceagencies, application forms and other third party sources to arrive at fast, fair, and appropriatecredit decisions Own Risk Mitigation Workflow execution to mitigate Amazon AR exposure but driving action items to completion by coordinating with internal stakeholders. Communicate with customers – requires good Customer Obsession as an Amazonrepresentative in credit-related communication with Amazon Business customers Improve processes – work with internal teams to understand the systems and variables thataffect credit management decisions, and drive improvements in the logic, tools and processes,with emphasis on automating tasks that are currently performed manually Monitor credit performance – monitoring of Accounts Receivables with emphasis on financialtransactions such as invoices, credits, debit-notes and cash application Professional traits not unique to this position, but necessary for Amazon leaders in this roleInclude:
