Financial Accountant (newly qualified)

Butler Rose is partnering with our large Facilities Management client based in London to recruit a Financial Accountant to join a newly formed Facilities Compliance division. This is a six months temporary role, offering hybrid working and paying up to £350 per day via Umbrella company.

The role is highly hands-on and suits a confident, inquisitive newly qualified accountant (ideally Big 4 / Top 10 trained) who can quickly pick up complexity, work in an unstructured environment, and take ownership from day one.

SAP experience is highly desirable, with HFM advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands-on journals, reconciliations and month-end close activities
• Balance sheet controls, intercompany and fixed assets
• Support HFM reporting, SAP integration and statutory reporting
• Assist audit, VAT, tax packs and compliance requirements
• Maintain strong controls framework and resolve issues proactively
• Work closely with finance teams across the division and group

Requirements

• Newly qualified, ideally Big 4 / Top 10 audit background
• Strong technical accounting knowledge (debits & credits)
• Analytical, proactive and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
• SAP essential; HFM beneficial
