Warehouse Driver / Logistics Assistant | Location: Dubai | Industry: Logistics, Freight Forwarding & Distribution | Employment Type: Full-Time | About the Company | Pan Gulf International DWC LLC is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and experienced Warehouse Driver / Logistics Assistant to support our warehouse and logistics operations in Dubai and across the UAE. | The successful candidate will be responsible for warehouse support, cargo handling, driving operations, port and customs coordination, and timely cargo collection/delivery from ports, airports, suppliers, and customers. | Key Responsibilities | Warehouse Operations |
- Receive incoming cargo, materials, and shipments. |
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently. |
- Perform cargo checking, quantity verification, and basic inspection upon receipt. |
- Arrange, stack, label, and organize cargo inside the warehouse. |
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and proper storage practices. |
- Assist in stock counting and inventory management. |
- Prepare cargo for dispatch and delivery. | Driving & Delivery Duties |
- Operate company vehicles safely for cargo transportation. |
- Drive forklift for loading/unloading operations (forklift license preferred). |
- Pick up and deliver cargo within Dubai and other UAE locations. |
- Handle urgent deliveries and customer shipments professionally. |
- Ensure cargo is secured properly during transportation. |
- Conduct daily vehicle inspection and report maintenance issues. | Port, Airport & Customs Coordination |
- Handle cargo collection and delivery from: | o Jebel Ali Port | o Dubai Customs | o Al Maktoum International Airport | o Dubai International Airport |
- Coordinate with customs, port staff, warehouse teams, and transporters. |
- Assist with cargo documentation and submission procedures. |
- Follow customs and port regulations strictly. |
- Support shipment clearance and cargo movement activities. | Documentation & Compliance |
- Maintain delivery records, gate passes, and cargo receiving documents. |
- Obtain customer signatures and proof of delivery. |
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and UAE traffic laws. |
- Report cargo discrepancies, damages, or delays immediately. | Requirements |
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or transportation industry in UAE. |
- Valid UAE driving license (manual license preferred). |
- Forklift operating experience and license is an advantage. |
- Experience handling Dubai ports, customs, airport cargo, and warehouse operations. |
- Basic knowledge of cargo documentation and delivery procedures. |
- Physically fit and able to handle loading/unloading activities. |
- Good communication skills in English. |
- Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent deliveries. |
- Knowledge of Dubai roads, industrial areas, and logistics zones. | Preferred Skills |
- Experience in freight forwarding or oilfield logistics industry. |
- Familiar with: | o JAFZA | o Dubai South | o DWC cargo operations | o Port and customs systems |
