Delivery Driver and Warehouse Operative

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver and Warehouse Operative to join our team. This role involves delivering products to customers, managing warehouse tasks, and ensuring smooth logistics flow. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, experience in warehouse environments, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks efficiently. A valid commercial driving license and forklift experience are preferred to support various operational needs.

Duties

• Safely operate company vehicles for local deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs
• Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, including forklifts when necessary
• Assist in warehouse organization, inventory management, and stock replenishment
• Move heavy items within the warehouse or during delivery using proper lifting techniques or equipment
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries by maintaining professionalism and clear communication
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse and delivery areas
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules, inventory updates, and operational issues

Requirements

• Valid commercial driving license with a Clean drivers abstract Printed
• Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics is preferred
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently
• Forklift certification or experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
• Experience in customer service roles is advantageous
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols
• Physical fitness to handle moving, lifting, and long periods of standing or walking within the warehouse or during deliveries

Pay: $17.20-$25.33 per hour
