■ Description
The Head Butler will work closely with all operational departments to lead and oversee the butler team, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience. This role is also responsible for the efficient management of the butler operations, meeting both financial and staff performance objectives.
■ Responsibilities and Duties
- Continuously seek improvements in service delivery and processes.
- Take ownership of guest concerns, managing communication between guests and teams to ensure prompt resolution and service recovery.
- Analyze guest feedback and provide strategic direction to enhance the overall guest experience and improve related KPIs.
- Maintain sufficient inventory levels at each butler station and ensure proper upkeep of the area, equipment, and supplies.
- Stay informed of local events and activities that may interest guests.
- Lead, manage, and coach the Butler team to ensure high performance.
- Conduct performance reviews and on-the-job training for the team.
- Plan duty rosters effectively to optimize productivity.
- Conduct daily briefings with the team to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to brand and operational standards, including LQA requirements.
- Follow all workplace safety and security procedures, reporting incidents to the appropriate teams immediately.
- Actively participate in corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
■ Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant managerial experience in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent business acumen, critical thinking, and strategic decision-making abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication, planning, and coordination skills.
- Capable of working independently and taking initiative.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Creative, resourceful, and proactive.
- In-depth understanding of the needs of international luxury travelers.
- Strong knowledge of the local hospitality market.
- Flexible with work schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
