Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cashier & Customer Service Associate to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling cashier transactions, assisting customers, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience. Previous supermarket or retail experience in the UAE is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers with inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter area.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges when required.
• Ensure pricing and barcode accuracy.
• Support store staff during busy hours when needed.
• Greet customers professionally and create a welcoming environment.
• Handle customer complaints politely and escalate when necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of cashier experience inside the UAE (mandatory).
• Experience in supermarkets or retail stores preferred.
• Good communication skills (English required, Arabic is a plus).
• Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Honest, responsible, and team-oriented.
