Role Overview
This role will be responsible to support the category team in managing product performance, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring smooth execution of category initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
Category Performance Tracking
- Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, and product movement across channels.
- Prepare daily / weekly / monthly performance reports.
- Track key metrics such as sales, margins, stock levels, and product-wise performance.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Use MS Excel to analyze sales data, trends, and category insights.
- Create dashboards and reports to support category decision making.
- Maintain product master sheets, price trackers, and promotional trackers
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, E-commerce, and Finance teams.
- Coordinate for product launches, promotions, stock planning, and campaign execution.
- Ensure alignment between category strategy and operational execution.
Vendor & Internal Communication
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth category operations.
- Follow up on product availability, pricing updates, and campaign requirements
Prior Experience: 3-5years of experience in Category Management / E-commerce / FMCG / D2C / Retail
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Marketing, or related field
Desired Candidate Profile
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of Beauty & Personal Care category trends is a plus
