Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Units 1 & 2 Night Shifts

NIGHTS / FTE – 36h / 35k SOB

Position Specificso Department: Medical Units 1 & 2

o Schedule: Full time, 36 hrs/wk, Nights (7p-7a) and weekend rotation

o Facility: St. John’s Hospital

o Location: Springfield, IL

o Sign On: Up to $35,000 for external candidates

o Compensation: Aligns with experience

o Differentials: Shift and Weekend available for qualified hours worked

Ideal Candidates: Patient-focused, mission-driven caregivers with clinical knowledge who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with complex acuities.

Education Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Bachelor’s of science in nursing is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

• Critical Care Nursing experience is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required. Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) are required based on the patient population in the specialty area worked.
• Speciality certifications based on patient population such as Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) are preferred.

Pay Range

$34.00 - $51.00

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
