Established in 1956, the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC) – also known as AHK Indien – is part of the global network of German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHKs), with over 140 offices in 92 countries. AHKs are key players in promoting German foreign trade and business development on behalf of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Headquartered in Mumbai, we operate through six additional offices in New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Pune, and Düsseldorf.

We are looking for a motivated intern to support our research and recruitment activities. This internship offers hands-on exposure to market research, candidate sourcing, and interview coordination in an international environment.

This is a full-time internship for 3 months based in Mumbai working with the Business Advisory Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support market research assignments
• Prepare market studies and presentations in German using PowerPoint
• Conduct ad hoc research on various business topics
• Assist in conducting initial screening calls with candidates
• Source CVs from external and internal databases and recruitment portals
• Support the recruitment team with coordination and administrative tasks

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field

Skills

• Excellent German language skills (written and spoken), preferably level C1
• Strong PowerPoint and presentation creation skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Interest in recruitment, research, and consulting environments
• Prior experience in market research will be an advantage
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
