A well-established Australian switchboard manufacturer is looking for an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of switchboard manufacturing projects from order intake through to delivery.

Responsibilities
- Reviewing contracts, specifications and client requirements at project handover from estimating
- Developing project schedules and managing delivery milestones in collaboration with engineering and operations
- Handing over to and managing the design team through the detailed engineering phase
- Reviewing and approving engineering deliverables prior to client submission
- Managing procurement of equipment and materials to ensure best price and timely delivery to the factory floor
- Coordinating workshop handover and monitoring projects as they move through manufacturing
- Submitting RFIs, EOTs, NODs and variations in line with contract requirements
- Managing project budgets, cost forecasts and margin performance
- Coordinating FAT scheduling and supporting QA and testing processes
- Presenting project status at weekly operations meetings and reporting to management
- Maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or senior Project Engineer in a switchboard manufacturing or closely related OEM electrical environment.
Required Skills
- Strong technical understanding of LV switchboards, MCCs and power distribution systems
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Experience with contract administration including RFIs, EOTs, NODs and variations
- Commercially aware with solid budget, cost forecast and margin management experience
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder communication skills
- Familiarity with AS/NZS 61439 and relevant Australian standards
- Siemens Sivacon product knowledge is a strong advantage

- Pay range and compensation package$140,000 to $160,000 + super | Full-time, on-site
