We are partnered with them to find a Marketing Director/Lead Campaign Strategist, to lead the design & execution of a multi-channel voter persuasion / electoral tools program, leveraging creator ecosystems, social media, and digital marketing to improve Democratic performance in 2026.
Job Title: Marketing Director & Lead Campaign Strategist
Location: NYC – Must be local to NYC-metro area and comfortable working onsite in midtown Manhattan 3x per week
Job Type: Contract-to-hire. The position will begin as a 3-month contract to evaluate mutual fit, with intent to then convert to FTE after 3-months.
Required Skills & Technologies
- 10+ years professional experience in digital marketing with fluency across various platforms (paid/programmatic/organic/social/creator)
- Experience managing 7-figure media / marketing budgets
- Experience with analytics and measuring effectiveness of campaigns and various channels
- Experience translating research into scalable campaigns – setting messaging & targeting priorities
- Experience managing / tracking performance across digital marketing channels
- Experience managing and coordinating across multiple digital marketing vendors
- Experience running paid media and organic campaigns (TikTok, YouTube, Meta, etc.) – including media buying & testing
- Strong passion for politics, social impact, and Democratic initiatives
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally, lead strategy/direction, compromise and push-back on stakeholders when needed
- Experience with polling, focus groups, policy analysis, campaign tracking, etc.
- Experience managing / designing geographic and demographic targeting, audience segmentation, etc.
Additional skills
- Degree in Digital Marketing, Political Science, Government, or related field
- Experience working in a small-team / start-up environment
- Experience leading digital marketing within election/political campaign context
- Strong passion for philanthropy and social impact
Rate/Salary: Hourly rate of $90-$100/hr, with salary conversion expected to be in +/- 175,000 – 200,000 base salary range (based on experience), plus 10% bonus
