Financial Analyst 📍 Downtown Chicago | HybridA prestigious global law firm with 1,750+ attorneys across 20+ offices worldwide is seeking a Financial Analyst to support practice group leaders and senior managing partners with financial reporting, performance analytics, and business insights.

What You'll Do
- Prepare standard and ad hoc financial reports summarizing key performance indicators and profitability at the practice group, office, and attorney level
- Support financial managers in the design and preparation of the monthly financial reporting package
- Participate in monthly review calls with senior management and address follow-up requests
- Configure specifications to accurately and efficiently extract data from the firm's financial reporting software
- Perform ongoing audits of financial system data to ensure accuracy and compliance with reporting SOPsTroubleshoot and resolve inquiries related to financial matters, collaborating cross-functionally as needed
- Assist with the annual budgeting process and analysis of lateral hire activity
- Support maintenance of the firm's financial software and reporting tools
- Assist with quarterly and annual bank surveys
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar
- At least 1-2 years of finance, accounting or consulting experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word)
