The Opportunity
The Financial Analyst will join a high-visibility Strategic Finance team responsible for delivering analytical insights, performance reporting, and decision-support tools to senior business leaders.
This role offers substantial exposure to operational leadership and provides an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking a transition from public accounting, rotational finance programs, consulting, or corporate FP&A into a highly business-facing finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Develop recurring and ad hoc reporting related to business performance, profitability, and operational metrics
- Analyze trends and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
- Assist with monthly reporting packages and management presentations
- Support leadership review meetings and follow-up analysis requests
- Create dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility into business performance
- Business Partnership
- Collaborate with leaders across multiple functional groups to understand performance drivers and emerging trends
- Present financial and operational insights to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning initiatives
- Participate in strategic projects involving business growth, resource allocation, and performance improvement
- Data Analytics & Systems
- Extract, organize, and analyze large data sets from internal reporting platforms
- Validate data accuracy and perform quality assurance reviews
- Assist with enhancements to reporting tools and financial systems
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
- Strategic Projects
- Support annual planning and forecasting cycles
- Assist with business case development and financial modeling projects
- Participate in workforce, profitability, and operational analytics initiatives
- Provide analytical support for executive-level projects and special requests
Ideal Candidate
- Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field1–3 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, consulting, accounting, or rotational finance programs
- Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables, lookup functions, formulas, and data analysis techniques
- Demonstrated analytical and financial modeling capabilities
- Strong communication skills with ability to present findings to leadership
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience working with reporting tools, BI platforms, or financial systems is a plus
