Full-Time Corporate Staff Accountant

Seeking a Corporate Accountant for a luxury retailer in New York City (Hybrid). Salary ranges from $70k to $85k.

Responsibilities Include

• Booking, reconciling, and reporting financial activities
• Preparing entries for the general ledger and analyzing financial data
• Monitoring reports for accuracy and resolving discrepancies
• Ensuring timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and assisting with audits
• Handling sales/use tax, property tax, and regulatory filings
• Maintaining organized records and providing backup duties as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in retail
• Knowledge of GAAP and experience with general ledger software
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
