We are a growing, client-focused Korean hair salon dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and high-quality hair services. We are currently seeking a professional, organized, and friendly Bilingual Salon Coordinator / Front Desk Receptionist who is fluent in both Korean and English to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has strong communication and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relations & Customer Service
- Warmly greet and welcome all clients upon arrival.
- Create a positive and professional first impression for every guest.
- Assist clients with inquiries regarding services, pricing, promotions, and salon policies.
- Ensure clients feel comfortable and attended to throughout their salon experience.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
Appointment Management
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm client appointments.
- Manage appointment bookings to maximize stylist productivity and salon revenue.
- Send appointment reminders and follow up with clients as needed.
- Maintain accurate client records and appointment notes.
Administrative Duties
- Process client payments accurately.
- Open and close daily cash and POS transactions.
- Maintain organized client files and salon records.
- Assist with inventory tracking and retail stock management.
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
Team Support
- Coordinate communication between clients and stylists.
- Assist with daily salon operations and workflow management.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
- Support management with special projects and operational tasks.
Qualifications
- Fluent in both Korean and English (spoken and written).
- Previous experience in reception, customer service, sales, hospitality, or salon/spa environments is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable working with computers, scheduling software, and POS systems.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Weekend and evening availability is preferred.
