About the Administrative Assistant Role
A national event and hospitality services company is hiring a remote Administrative Assistant to support our San Francisco operations. Our mission is to lift up small local businesses and give them bigger, better opportunities — and the Administrative Assistant is the person who makes that possible behind the scenes.
You'll own vendor paperwork, compliance documents, contracts, and the systems that keep our events running smoothly.
As Administrative Assistant, you'll work directly with the Regional Director of Operations and support our Operations Managers across the region. This is a detail-driven, organized, proactive Administrative Assistant role for someone who takes pride in clean files, accurate documents, and getting things right the first time.

What You Get as Administrative Assistant
- $25 – $30/hour base pay (Experience-based) — $52,000 – $62,400 base annualized
- 5–10% year-end discretionary bonus
- Total earning potential with bonus: ~$55,000 – $68,000
- Fully remote — work from your home office anywhere in San Francisco
- $1,200/year cell phone & tech stipend ($100/month, paid day one)
- $250 office reimbursement (after 90-day introductory period)

- Paid Time Off that grows with tenure:
- 2 weeks PTO in year one (after 90-day probation)

What You'll Own as Administrative Assistant
- Collect and organize all vendor paperwork (city permits, business licenses, sellers permits, COIs)
- Organize SharePoint folders with clean labeling and file structure
- Compose and distribute customer/event contracts, agreements, and proposals
- Create documents and graphics for accounts (maps, diagrams, vendor presentations)
- Support invoicing and payment procedures
- Track expiring documents and proactively chase updated paperwork from vendors
- Audit vendor files to ensure regional compliance
- Research city and county permit requirements across the markets we serve
- Provide general admin support to the Operations Managers as needed
Requirements
- Strong organizational and time management skills — you keep clean files and clean inboxes
- Strong written and verbal communicator
- Tech-savvy — comfortable picking up new software and online tools quickly
- Detail-oriented with a high sense of urgency
- Self-starter who works efficiently and independently in a remote environment
- Comfortable multitasking and staying composed when something unexpected pops up
- Able to follow direction and own delegated tasks end-to-end
- Based in San Francisco
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
