Job Summary
The QA/QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all landscaping, irrigation, and construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
The role involves conducting inspections, maintaining quality documentation, supporting audits, managing non-conformance reports, and coordinating with project teams to ensure compliance with quality management systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibility:
- Conducts inspections to determine if work has been done in accordance with contract specifications and may include any of the following
- Installation of Irrigation and soft landscaping, hard landscaping
- Taking project photographs daily and filing them
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications, training programs etc.,
- Accomplishes quality department goals and organization mission by completing related results as needed
- Work closely with production engineers/other departments to help close CAPA in time, analyze detect to arrive at the right root cause, correct timely curative actions, corrective and preventive actions
- Prepare and submit reports to quality manager, quality in charge
- Face external audits, conduct internal audits
- Maintain and update quality inspector records
- Accomplishes quality department goals and organization mission by completing related results as needed
- Perform all daily inspection and tests of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for all works under the contract performed ON or OFF site
- Carry out inspection and checking for all quality-related procedures in the site and ensures activity at the site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan
- Co-ordinate with the consultant’s representative and department In-Charge for inspection and meeting about quality problems including the closure of Non-Compliance Report
- Report to the QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, JOB DESCRIPTIONpermanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents. Responsible for the closure of Non-conformance, NCR and SOR,
- Develop method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project
- Active participation in ISO internal as well as external audits
- A team player, who accepts additional responsibilities to cover for colleagues while they are awayQualification:
- Minimum 3-5 Years of work experience in process quality and improvement in a Manufacturing Environment
- Knowledge of quality standards – preference to ISO standards
- Knowledge of internal auditing
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Engineering (Associate)
