Key Responsibilities

• Advanced Playwright Automation: Design, implement, and maintain high-performance end-to-end (E2E) testing suites using Playwright.
• This includes handling complex user flows, cross-browser testing, and visual regressions.
• Full Stack Feature Development: Develop and maintain core application features across the frontend and backend, ensuring every new feature is born with a corresponding Playwright suite.
• AI-Driven Testing: Pioneer the use of AI code generation to accelerate the creation of Playwright scripts, Page Object Models (POM), and synthetic test data.
• CI/CD Integration: Integrate Playwright into our automated pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) to provide instant feedback on every pull request.
• Testing Infrastructure: Optimize test execution speed through parallelization and sharding within Playwright to keep developer feedback loops tight.

Requirements

• Testing Core
• Expert-level Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript), including Trace Viewer, Codegen, and Playwright Test Runner.
• Frontend
• React, Next.js, or Vue; modern CSS/TypeScript. Backend
• Node.js, Python, or Go; API design and database management.
• AI Proficiency
• High level of skill in AI-assisted coding (GitHub Copilot, Cursor) specifically for generating robust test cases and refactoring legacy code. DevOpsDocker, Kubernetes, and experience with headless browser environments in the cloud.
• What You’ll Bring 8+ years of Full Stack experience with at least 4 years focused on modern automation frameworks.
• A deep understanding of the Playwright ecosystem, including handling asynchronous events, authentication states, and network interception.
• The ability to leverage LLMs to not only write code but to troubleshoot complex test failures and automate repetitive documentation tasks.
• Experience moving teams away from legacy tools (like Selenium) toward modern, faster Playwright-based solutions.
