As an AI Engineer at Allegiance Real Estate, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and deploying AI-powered solutions that enhance customer engagement, automate workflows, and support business growth. You will work closely with product, sales, and technology teams to build scalable AI systems that deliver contextual, accurate, and business-driven insights.

- Key Areas of Contribution
- Design and develop scalable AI architectures and intelligent data systems
- Build and optimize retrieval systems and knowledge-driven AI experiences
- Develop AI-powered customer engagement solutions, recommendation engines, and conversational interfaces
- Integrate AI capabilities with business applications, databases, APIs, and workflow automation tools
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into production-ready AI solutions
- Drive continuous improvement in AI performance, reliability, and user experience
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy machine learning and AI models into production environments
- Build and optimize RAG pipelines — including document ingestion, chunking, embedding, retrieval, and generation
- Work with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, pgvector, Milvus) to enable semantic search and retrieval
- Integrate LLMs with internal knowledge bases, APIs, and backend services
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for AI/ML and RAG pipelines
- Optimize retrieval quality, model performance, latency, and cost at scale
- Evaluate and improve RAG systems (relevance, grounding, hallucination reduction)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into technical solutions
- Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve deployed models and pipelines
Required Qualifications
- Strong programming skills in Python (and ideally one of: Java, C++, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals and LLM concepts
- Hands-on experience building RAG systems and working with embeddings and vector databases
- Experience with ML/LLM frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensor

- Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices
- Experience with APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and version control (Git)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
