Roles & Responsibilities
- Review and validate accounting-related AI outputs for accuracy, completeness, and logical consistency
- Create high-quality prompts and reference answers based on real-world accounting workflows, reconciliations, ledger logic, and bookkeeping processes
- Evaluate and rank AI-generated responses using accounting principles and guideline compliance standards
- Extract and digitize information from handwritten or scanned accounting records into structured formats
- Identify mismatched totals, missing entries, inconsistent narrations, and documentation gaps in financial records
- Provide concise written explanations and feedback grounded in accounting and bookkeeping logic
- Work with structured guidelines, workflows, and annotation standards to maintain data quality and consistency
- Support AI training initiatives involving financial records, transaction classification, and administrative accounting systems
Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping, general ledger processes, reconciliations, AP/AR, accounting classifications, and cash vs accrual accounting principles
- Experience with manual or semi-manual accounting systems including ledgers, voucher packets, approval chains, procurement documentation, and institutional accounting workflows preferred
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent practical accounting experience considered a plus
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset with the ability to identify inconsistencies, missing records, and documentation issues clearly and accurately
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and familiarity with accounting software or ERPs such as QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, or Oracle preferred
- Comfortable reading detailed instructions and communicating clearly in English for documentation and remote collaboration
