As a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing both in-house applications and vendor solutions integral to post-trade processing for the Institutional Global Equities and Derivatives lines of business.
Your expertise will be vital in proactive problem-solving, translating complex business needs into practical software solutions, and optimising throughput in high-volume, near real-time environments. Responsibilities also include leading business and system analysis, participating in new system projects, and actively leading Agile scrums.
You will be instrumental in the design and architecture of scalable, available, and secure solutions, collaborating closely with product management, other software engineers, business system analysts, and various stakeholders.
Emphasising efficient and scalable code, you will define technical requirements, present innovative solutions, and ensure reliable software delivery through automated testing, regression suites, and robust DevOps practices. Your proven ability to mentor other developers and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences will be key to fostering a high-performance team environment.
