Job Summary
The Business Development Manager (Façade Solutions) is responsible for driving business growth by identifying project opportunities, building strong industry relationships, and securing façade-related projects. This role focuses on both market development and project acquisition within the construction and architectural sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction and façade industry
- Generate and track project leads from architects, consultants, developers, and contractors
- Build and maintain a strong project pipeline
- Client Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including architects, consultants, developers, and main contractors
- Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and follow-ups
- Product Promotion & Marketing
- Promote façade and aluminium architectural products through presentations and technical discussions
- Organize and participate in exhibitions, networking events, and industry activities
- Project & Tender Coordination
- Follow up on tender opportunities and project submissions
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, estimation, design, and project) for proposal preparation
- Support negotiation and closing of projects
- Market Intelligence
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
- Provide strategic insights to enhance market positioning
- Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Prepare monthly reports on project pipeline, leads, and sales performance
- Track KPIs including lead generation, conversion rate, and revenue targets
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of project leads generated
- Number of client meetings, presentations, and site visits
- Tender opportunities identified and submitted
- Sales revenue and project conversion rate
- Customer satisfaction and retention
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in façade, aluminium, construction, or building materials industry
- Proven track record in business development or project sales
- Good understanding of façade systems and architectural products is an advantage
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Willing to travel and engage with clients regularly
