Position Summary
Phoenix International Publications is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Vice President of Global Operations to lead and optimize our global publishing operations, supply chain, inventory management, manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution functions.
This executive leadership role will be responsible for building scalable operational processes that support the Company's continued growth while improving speed to market, inventory performance, customer service, and profitability.
The successful candidate will serve as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and work closely with Publishing, Sales, Finance, IT, and our international offices to drive operational excellence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of global publishing operations, supply chain, inventory management, and distribution.
- Develop and execute operational strategies that support the Company's long-term growth objectives.
- Oversee inventory planning, forecasting, replenishment, and working capital management.
- Partner with Sales and Finance to analyze POS trends, customer demand, and inventory investments.
- Manage relationships with domestic and international manufacturing and distribution partners.
- Drive improvements in speed to market, operational efficiency, and customer service levels.
- Support Co-Edition, Custom Publishing, warehouse club, direct-to-consumer, and international business initiatives.
- Lead process improvement and operational modernization projects, including systems and reporting enhancements.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations organization while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Develop and monitor key operational metrics and provide regular updates to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in publishing operations, supply chain, inventory management, or related operational disciplines.
- Proven success managing complex inventory and forecasting environments.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, including experience managing budgets and operational P&Ls.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence strategic decision making.
- Experience working with major retail channels, warehouse clubs, custom publishing, or international distribution is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Publishing or consumer products industry experience strongly preferred.

Salary Range$150,000-$250,000 annually, depending on qualifications, experience, skills and overall fit for the role. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
