Medical Receptionist / Office Assistant (Bilingual English & Cantonese)

Job Summary

We are a private medical practice with two physicians seeking a dependable and personable Medical Receptionist / Office Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with patients, has strong organizational skills, and can help ensure the smooth daily operation of our office.

Healthcare experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct incoming phone calls
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Verify insurance information and obtain authorizations
• Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner
• Perform general clerical and administrative duties
• Maintain accurate patient records and office documentation
• Support physicians and staff with day-to-day office operations

Qualifications

• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Basic Chinese language skills required
• Prior experience in a healthcare or medical office setting preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in an office environment
• Professional, reliable, and patient-focused
