About the Role
Kempinski Hotel in Dubai is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director to lead and motivate our sales team. This pivotal role is responsible for achieving and exceeding yearly sales budgets, upholding management standards, and ensuring the department’s objectives align with the hotel’s mission and vision. The ideal candidate will be a guiding, team-oriented, democratic, and empowering leader.
Sales Manager Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead, direct, and motivate the Sales team to achieve and surpass yearly sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to ensure a high-performing sales team.
- Oversee the preparation of yearly revenue and expense budgets in consultation with the Commercial Director.
- Ensure all sales personnel have clear sales targets, personal sales plans, and incentive structures.
- Monitor weekly sales reports and outstanding balances, following up with team members to ensure timely resolution.
- Manage Leisure, Corporate, and Group segments, ensuring all inquiries are responded to within 24 hours.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sales Director or in a similar senior sales leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of sales strategies and market dynamics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to develop and manage budgets.
- Proficiency in sales reporting and analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
