Position Overview
As Partnership Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening and expanding Ecomma’s external network. Your focus will be on building long-term relationships with brokers, intermediaries, founders, agencies, and other strategic partners who can contribute to consistent, high-quality deal flow.
You will act as a trusted representative of Ecomma in the market and help position the firm as a credible, professional, and preferred buyer of e-commerce businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships with brokers, marketplaces, and industry intermediaries
- Building strong long-term relationships that drive qualified deal flow
- Representing Ecomma in external conversations, online communities, and industry networks
- Maintaining consistent communication with partners and ensuring Ecomma remains top of mind
- Supporting the wider acquisitions team by contributing to pipeline growth
- Providing market feedback and insights based on partner interactions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
- 3+ years’ experience in partnerships, business development, or relationship management roles.
- Experience within e-commerce, private equity, M&A, SaaS, or digital marketplaces is highly desirable.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and commercial skills, with the ability to represent the company professionally in external conversations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in partnerships, business development, account management, or relationship-focused roles
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with a professional approach
- Commercial mindset with the ability to understand value, opportunities, and deal dynamics
- Experience in e-commerce, private equity, M&A, SaaS, or digital businesses is a strong advantage
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
