GEMS Wellington Academy Silicon Oasis is seeking a professional, friendly, and highly organised Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our school community. This is a key front-facing role where you will represent the school’s values and ensure every visitor, parent, staff member, and student receives a warm and efficient welcome. This position requires immediate commencement.
As the face of the school, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the school office.
Act as the first point of contact for all visitors, parents, students, and staff
Answer telephone calls promptly, courteously, and direct enquiries appropriately
Provide accurate information regarding admissions, curriculum, school events, and activities
Welcome all visitors and ensure a professional and friendly reception experience
Maintain a clean, organised, and presentable reception area at all times
Manage the visitor register and coordinate school tours
Support communication of school events through daily bulletins and updates
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and coordinate courier services
Provide general administrative and secretarial support as required
Ensure compliance with all GEMS policies, procedures, and safeguarding standards
Support school operations by attending meetings and contributing where required
Carry out additional duties as directed by the line manager
