Braun Management works with executive teams to solve organizational problems that have become too internal to resolve. We focus on structural truths, helping leadership teams untangle European governance, clarify decision rights, and address operational friction with evidence-backed analysis.
About the role
Currently, a global logistics firm headquartered in Chicago is working with us to restructure its European operations and clarify complex decision pathways. To support this engagement, we need a Junior UI Developer to build clear, functional internal dashboards and data visualization tools that help the client's executive team understand their new organizational design.
In this position, you will translate structural data into clean, readable browser interfaces, working in a hybrid environment where you combine independent remote coding with collaborative planning sessions.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain responsive front-end components using HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript.
- Build clean, interactive charts and layout structures that make complex organizational data easy for corporate executives to read.
- Collaborate with our consultants to turn structural analysis and spreadsheet models into intuitive visual dashboards.
- Write clean, well-documented code that adheres to strict design guidelines and accessibility standards.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure reliability, accuracy, and performance across different web browsers.
- Help troubleshoot front-end issues and refine existing templates based on feedback from client-facing teams.
- Document developer workflows and UI component libraries to support future technical updates.
What you bring
- A solid foundational understanding of front-end web development, including vanilla JavaScript, CSS, and modern frameworks.
- Strong attention to detail and an interest in clean layout composition and visual hierarchy.
- A genuine curiosity about how complex business systems work and how data can be organized visually.
- Clear, methodical written communication skills for explaining technical details or writing documentation.
- The ability to work independently on remote days and collaborate productively during group sessions.
- A basic familiarity with Git or version control systems for collaborative code management.
- An organized approach to managing tasks and meeting project deadlines.
- How we work We operate on structured, hybrid guidelines that combine the flexibility of remote tasks with the benefits of in-person collaboration.
- Our team meets weekly at a local office space to align on project objectives, run design workshops, and review client feedback, while the rest of the week is dedicated to focused development from home.
- We rely heavily on clear, written documentation rather than constant meetings, ensuring everyone has the clarity they need to work productively.
- This balanced structure allows us to maintain both high-quality technical standards and strong personal connections across the team.
- What the role offers
- An attractive and competitive rate of pay for this entry-level framework.
- A structured hybrid schedule that respects your focused working time.
- Direct exposure to high-level organizational projects and executive-level data visualization.
- Supportive mentorship from experienced consultants and technical professionals.
- A quiet, professional working environment free from unnecessary corporate hype.
- Clear paths for professional growth inside a growing firm that values structural analytical skills.
- By building clear, visual interfaces for complex structural data, you will help leaders make better decisions.
- Your work directly affects how clearly our clients see their own organizations during critical periods of change.
- At Braun Management, we believe that clean, honest presentation is essential for solving difficult corporate problems.
