ScopeThe Executive - Supply Chain leads the assigned direct categories in Trims as applicable. The role holder provides category expertise and is responsible for delivery of the category management objectives, including category strategy, sourcing savings, On-Time In-Full (OTIF) / Quality, global capacity management, supplier performance management, process standardization and risk mitigation.
Responsibilities
- Lead achievement of category management objectives for assigned categories, including strategy development, sourcing savings, OTIF, quality, and global capacity management Drive supplier initiatives such as onboarding, performance management, negotiations, contract management, supplier rationalization, and risk mitigation Collaborate with Key Account Groups (KAGs), corporate teams, and suppliers to achieve category objectives, including process standardization, profitability improvement, and long-range supply chain planning (LRP) Provide management information system (MIS) and reporting on category KPIs, supplier performance dashboards, and progress of functional projects in line with guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Textile technology or Supplies and Materials Management or Business Administration 3 - 4 years of experience in apparel sourcing/supply chain, with hands-on expertise in managing trims (elastics, threads, labels, and packaging materials); exposure to the trims category will be an added advantage Proven expertise in supplier management, price negotiation, cost analysis, and end-to-end order execution including lead times and delivery performance Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and sound problem-solving and decision-making capabilities Ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced environments with strong stakeholder management, commercial acumen, and high ownership/accountability
