Job Title - Accounting Manager

About the Role

We're hiring an Accounting Manager to lead financial reporting and general ledger operations for international divisions of a fast-growing North American organisation. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes ownership of the close process, thrives under deadlines, and has a genuine drive to build better systems.

You'll work closely with corporate accounting, FP&A, and cross-functional teams - and you'll have real scope to improve how things get done.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for international entities
• Partner with local accounting teams to prepare and review financial statements in line with U.S. GAAP
• Oversee general ledger activities including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Support external audits with schedules and documentation
• Identify and drive process improvements and automation opportunities
• Collaborate with corporate accounting on company-wide reporting requirements

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA certified or actively on a CPA track (preferred)
• 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 2+ years in a management or supervisory role
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills - pivot tables, lookups, data analysis
• Experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains is a plus
• Immediate availability preferred

You'll Stand Out If You Have

• Public accounting experience (Big 4 or mid-tier firm)
• Background in a high-growth or SaaS environment
• Exposure to SOX compliance
