Job Title: Travel Mechanical Assembler

The Travel Mechanical Assembler installs, assembles, and tests mechanical and electrical components on an automated assembly line, with a focus on front wheel, suspension, and brake systems. This role works with robotic arms, torque tools, and various hand and power tools to build and verify complex mechanical assemblies in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
The position requires frequent travel and offers a per diem opportunity while working onsite at a manufacturing facility.

This role is fully onsite in a manufacturing environment that operates automated assembly lines and robotic arm systems. You will work with a variety of tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, gauges and measuring devices, specialized torque equipment, electrical testing equipment, and lifting devices such as cranes and hoists.
The position trains on 1st shift for approximately three weeks, then transitions to 2nd or 3rd shift. Typical off-shift hours include 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with overtime expected, often resulting in 10–12 hour days and an anticipated workload of 55+ hours per week. You may work 2 out of 4 Saturdays, with Sunday work available on a voluntary basis.
During holiday periods, you may be expected to work if the plant remains open and work is available; if the plant shuts down, you can go home. The environment is fast-paced, production-focused, and requires adherence to safety procedures and appropriate industrial attire suitable for a manufacturing setting.
