Construction Estimator – Interior Glass Partitions
Commercial Glass Partitions, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Construction Estimator to join our growing team. We specialize in the design, fabrication, and supply of high-quality interior glass partition systems for commercial office spaces throughout the United States.
Responsibilities
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for interior glass partition systems.
- Perform quantity takeoffs from construction drawings.
- Analyze project requirements, materials, labor, and installation costs.
- Communicate with customers, architects, general contractors, and suppliers.
- Prepare and submit proposals in a timely manner.
- Follow up on bids and maintain customer relationships.
- Coordinate with, engineering, and production teams after project award.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, drawings, and project documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of estimating experience in commercial construction, glazing, storefronts, architectural metals, millwork, or related industries.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Self-motivated, reliable, and team-oriented.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with interior glass partitions, glazing systems, storefronts, or commercial doors.
- Knowledge of construction estimating software.
- Experience reviewing bid packages and construction documents.
