Business Development Manager - Emerging TechnologyUK & Europe | Remote (with travel)£50,000-£60,000 basic + £15,000-£20,000 OTE A specialist provider of global technology research and advisory services is expanding its commercial team and is looking to hire a Business Development Manager to support growth across the UK and European markets.

The organisation works with companies operating at the cutting edge of innovation, providing insight, analysis and advisory support across emerging technology sectors.

The Opportunity

• This role sits in a growing sales organisation
• You will own an annual revenue target and sell to clients across Europe
• You'll take marketing and events leads, as well as generating your own leads and progress them through the full sales process
• As you progress, you'll transition into managing accounts, supported by senior sales leadership and technical analysts.

You'll be required to travel to meet clients across Europe

What You'll Be Doing

• Selling market research, subscriptions and advisory services related to emerging technologies
• Running outbound campaigns to identify and engage new prospects
• Working closely with analysts during client meetings and sales calls
• Booking and attending meetings with technical and commercial stakeholders
• Developing accounts after an initial ramp‑up period
• Visiting clients and attending industry events across Europe

• Experience

Requirements

• 5 years of B2B sales experience -Experience of opening and closing business
• Exposure to structured sales training
• Comfortable with outbound prospecting and research‑led selling
• Interest in technology or innovation‑driven environments
• Character:
• Professional, presentable and confident
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Quick learner with intellectual curiosity
