The Manager, Business Development will support the growth and expansion of our Institutional Catering business, with a key focus on the Healthcare and Education sectors. Reporting to the Lead, Business Development, this role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, supporting commercial initiatives, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to drive business growth across Food Services.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Healthcare and Education sectors.
- Support the development of sales channels for manufactured F&B products through various
- platforms and customer segments.
- Coordinate internal sales opportunities across NTUC FairPrice Group and Food Services.
- Prepare business proposals, presentations, reports, and tender submissions for potential
- clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and market
- trends.
- Work closely with operations, culinary, manufacturing, procurement, and support teams to
- ensure smooth execution of business initiatives.
- Support the implementation of new business models and commercial strategies for future
- growth.
- Coordinate and follow through on business development projects and client requirements.
- Assist in ensuring smooth onboarding and operational readiness for new business accounts.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant business development, sales, or commercial experience. Experience in the F&B industry will be an added advantage.
- Minimum Diploma from a local Polytechnic or Degree in Business, Marketing, or related disciplines.
- Good written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
- Highly organised, meticulous, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and growth-oriented mindset.
Salary range
