What's the Job?
- Identify regulatory requirements impacting compensation plans, including those for senior executives and material risk takers.
- Focus on legislation from prudential regulators across all jurisdictions where the organization has employees, emphasizing governance, risk management, and financial accountability.
- Maintain a comprehensive list of enterprise oversight functions monitoring relevant regulators and regulations related to governance and risk management over incentive and variable compensation globally.
- Establish and nurture relationships with oversight functions to stay informed about regulatory developments and ensure compliance.
- Assess regulatory updates, such as SEC clawback provisions, to determine their impact on compensation plans and communicate findings to HR and leadership teams.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 3+ years experience in compensation within regulatory or compliance environments.
- At least 3+ years of HR/Compensation Governance experience.
- Banking industry experience is preferred, with a minimum of 1+ years.
- Legal background or US Regulatory experience is considered a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities are essential.
