Operations Executive (Transport)
Salary: $3,200 – $3,800
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
Location: Jurong East
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily delivery schedules to meet customer requirements.
- Assign and deploy drivers and vehicles efficiently.
- Monitor delivery progress and vehicle movements using GPS tracking systems.
- Liaise with customers, warehouse teams, plant operators, and shipping agents on delivery arrangements.
- Handle operational issues and urgent delivery requests.
- Monitor vessel movements through Portnet and Jurong Port systems.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities.
- Prepare and verify transport, shipping, and delivery documents.
- Process Proof of Delivery (POD) and maintain accurate records.
- Manage driver scheduling, deployment, and trip reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, customer requirements, and company procedures.
- Participate in rotational standby duties when required.
Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, or related fields.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics, transport operations, delivery scheduling, or fleet coordination.
- Good understanding of transport and logistics operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Portnet, Jurong Port systems, GPS tracking, or transport management systems will be an advantage.
- Willing to participate in rotational standby duties.
