At Super, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented part-qualified Accountant to join our finance team and take ownership of the general ledger accounting for some of key support entities in Western Europe.
This role is well suited to someone with a strong foundation in financial and management accounting who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, improving processes, and taking ownership of month-end and balance sheet integrity.
A key part of the role will be strengthening and maintaining robust balance sheet reconciliations, supporting timely and accurate reporting, and working closely with external auditors and finance partners.
The successful candidate will be comfortable operating across multiple entities, understand the importance of local compliance, and be confident working with stakeholders across the business.
Part-qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA), or equivalent progress toward qualification. Previous experience in an Accountant or Management Accountant-style role, ideally with ownership of legal entities or country ledgers. Strong experience with general ledger accounting, month-end close, and balance sheet reconciliations. A track record of implementing or improving financial processes and controls.
Good understanding of local GAAP principles; experience across Spain and/or the Netherlands would be highly beneficial. Experience working with external auditors and third-party finance or accounting partners. Ability to prepare accurate reporting packs, schedules, and reconciliations to tight deadlines. Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a hands-on, proactive mindset.
Confidence working independently while also collaborating effectively with wider finance and business teams. Good systems knowledge, including ERP or finance systems; experience with Dynamics 365 would be advantageous. Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal. Spanish language skills would be an advantage. Understanding of local taxes would be a distinct advantage.
