- Key Responsibilities * Coordinate mathematics teaching and learning activities across assigned classes or sections. * Support mathematics teachers with lesson planning, curriculum delivery, assessment preparation, and classroom strategies. * Monitor the quality of mathematics instruction and provide guidance to improve teaching standards. * Help ensure that mathematics lessons are well-structured, engaging, and aligned with school curriculum expectations. * Review student progress data and support strategies to improve attainment and learning outcomes. * Assist teachers in identifying learning gaps and planning suitable academic interventions. * Support the development of worksheets, assessments, learning resources, and enrichment activities. * Guide teachers in using differentiated teaching methods to support students with different ability levels. * Maintain academic records, assessment data, progress reports, and coordination documentation. * Collaborate with school leadership, department heads, and teaching staff to meet departmental goals. * Promote problem-solving, logical thinking, numeracy skills, and confidence in mathematics learning. * Support classroom observations, peer learning, team planning, and teacher development activities where required. * Communicate professionally with staff, students, and parents when needed. * Perform other academic and coordination duties assigned by the school leadership.
