About the Role
A premium food production and distribution company is seeking a reliable, proactive Senior Night Delivery Driver to oversee our nighttime logistics and fleet operations. This is a hands-on role where you will divide your time between delivering high-quality products and coordinating our small fleet of chilled vans.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliveries: Securely transport food products using company chilled vans, ensuring stock is placed neatly inside customer premises/fridges.
- Fleet Oversight: Conduct weekly security checks, manage MOT schedules, organize vehicle valeting/cleaning, and troubleshoot minor issues (light bulbs, ad-blue, chilling compartments).
- Coordination: Act as the main contact for fleet technical issues, manage fuel card reports, and help onboard/train new drivers when coverage is needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years holding a UK Driving License.
- Excellent driving record (maximum of 0 - 3 penalty points).
- Must operate and invoice bi-weekly on a Self-Employed basis.
- Strong organizational skills and basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
