We’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) who thrives on making connections and opening doors. This is an in-person role in our Toronto office, where you’ll work closely with our Account Executives and leadership team to identify opportunities, build relationships, and help drive revenue.
If you’re someone who enjoys talking to people, isn’t afraid of hearing “no,” and wants to build a career in sales and tech, this is a great fit.
Researching and identifying prospects across industries like finance, education, healthcare, and government.
Reaching out through email, LinkedIn, and calls to spark conversations and book meetings.
Qualifying leads and handing them off to Account Executives.
Building credibility as the first point of contact for TransCrypts.
Keeping our CRM organized and providing feedback on what you’re seeing in the market.
-1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role (internships count).
-Strong communication skills — you enjoy connecting with people and can hold a conversation with anyone.
-Resilience — you don’t get discouraged easily and can push through rejection.
-Familiarity with tools like Salesforce or HubSpot is helpful but not required.
-Curiosity about blockchain, AI, or SaaS technology is a plus.
