Job Overview
As a Senior SaaS Sales Director/VP, you will lead a team responsible for customer acquisition, team building, and revenue growth in the China market.
By developing a deep understanding of merchant needs, you will drive adoption of our AI-powered SaaS solutions among enterprise clients — while taking ownership of building, training, and managing a high-performing sales organization to help the company achieve its business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute the China regional sales strategy, acquire new SaaS customers, and deliver on annual sales targets.
- Team Building & Management: Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and talent pipeline development; establish standardized sales processes and methodologies.
- Customer Needs Discovery: Deeply uncover customer pain points, align product strengths to deliver tailored solutions, and drive opportunities from pipeline to closed deals.
- Account Relationship Management: Nurture key client relationships, maximize customer lifetime value, and build long-term strategic partnerships.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product and Marketing teams to relay customer insights, contribute to industry case study development, and support go-to-market initiatives.
- Sales Analytics: Monitor sales data, analyze market trends, and continuously optimize sales strategy and resource allocation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in SaaS product or cross-border payment sales, with at least 3 years in a team management role; experience building or restructuring a sales team from the ground up is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with the China cross-border e-commerce ecosystem or subscription-based SaaS business models, with a proven track record of customer acquisition, channel development, and successful market expansion.
- Strong leadership and talent development capabilities, with demonstrated ability to build high-performing sales teams and effective collaboration mechanisms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; comfortable engaging C-level stakeholders and driving complex deals to closure.
- Highly self-motivated with a clear results orientation; able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead a team through rapid growth during a period of organizational transformation.
