About the Client
Our client, a leading investment bank, is seeking a high-impact Front Office Cash Equities Business Analyst to drive the end-to-end delivery of complex systems across their global trading and research divisions.
You will serve as the critical interface connecting front-office desks (encompassing high-touch, low-touch, and algorithmic trading), middle office operations, research teams, and engineering units—translating sophisticated business requirements into scalable, resilient technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Front Office project team in designing and implementing trading solutions across global equity markets and investment research domains.
- Collaborate closely with Front Office, Middle Office, and Research users to elicit requirements, translating them into robust Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and functional specifications.
- Analyse complex business needs to propose scalable, high-level technical solutions for system implementation.
- Partner with engineering and development teams during the design and build phases, acting as the primary conduit to clarify business logic and user expectations.
- Proactively identify, track, and report project and process risks, ensuring critical issues are escalated to the Project Manager in a timely manner.
- Monitor and analyse trading and business performance metrics to identify operational trends, process gaps, and new commercial opportunities.
- Assist the testing team with test case preparation, reviewing, and validating test coverage against real-world business scenarios.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles with business stakeholders, actively identifying and bridging any gaps between initial requirements and the final technical delivery.
- Provide regular, structured project status updates to the Project Manager to facilitate data-driven decision-making for senior management.
