Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Integration Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise integration solutions within a complex, mission-critical environment. The role involves building scalable integration services, APIs, and data pipelines while enabling seamless data exchange across applications and platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, Hadoop, Java, Kafka, SQL Server, API Management platforms, Openshift, ETL/ELT processes, Event-Driven Architecture, and Microservices. Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, automation, and documentation is highly desirable.

Key Skills & Experience6+ years of experience in Application/Data Integration.

Strong proficiency in Python and Hadoop (Primary) and Java (Secondary) for integration development.

Extensive experience with SQL Server for data handling, transformation, and optimization.5+ years of hands-on experience with Kafka for real-time data streaming and messaging.

Experience developing APIs using FastAPI and managing APIs through API Management platforms.

Strong understanding of Containerization and Orchestration using Openshift.

Experience with ETL/ELT processes for data integration and transformation.

Proven expertise in Event-Driven Architecture and Microservices Architecture.

Knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns.

Experience designing, implementing, and supporting mission-critical services.

Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding, testing, automation, and documentation tools, including natural language-driven development approaches.

Practical experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience in the banking or financial services domain is preferred
