We are looking for a dedicated, hands-on Social Media and Digital Marketing Executive to own and grow our social media presence from the ground up. This is a full-time, standalone role with clear KPIs focused on follower growth and engagement.
You will also support our broader digital marketing efforts (SEO + SEM). What you'll be doing?
Social Media
- Own and execute end-to-end social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), Threads, and any new platforms that emerge.
- Create, schedule, and publish high-quality daily content (Reels, carousels, Stories, videos, photos) that showcases Laowa lenses in real-world use.
- Grow followers and engagement with clear, measurable KPIs (e.g., monthly follower targets, engagement rate benchmarks).
- Proactively build and manage collaborations/activations with complementary camera equipment brands, popular pages, influencers, and creators.
- Handle community management: reply to comments/DMs, run giveaways/contests, and keep the Laowa community active and loyal.
- Track performance with platform analytics, prepare monthly reports, and continuously optimize based on data.
- Stay ahead of trends in photography, videography, and social algorithms.
Digital Marketing
- Assist with SEO: keyword research, on-page optimization, content recommendations, and basic technical improvements.
- Support SEM: help set up, monitor, and optimize Google Ads / other paid campaigns to drive traffic and conversions.
- Work with our website team to improve landing pages and conversion funnels.
- Any other marketing-related ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor.
Who are they looking for?
- Proven experience managing and growing social media accounts (with testimonials)
- Demonstrable results: you can show accounts you have grown (follower numbers, engagement rate improvement, successful collaborations).
- Strong portfolio of visual content (Reels, carousels, photography-related posts).
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken). Additional languages are a plus.
- Hands-on experience with social scheduling tools (Meta Business Suite, Later, Buffer, etc.), analytics, Canva/Photoshop/Premiere (or equivalent), and basic SEO/SEM tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEMrush/Ahrefs) will be an advantage
- Creative, self-starter mindset – you will be the only dedicated person on social, so you must be able to work independently and proactively.
- Genuine passion for photography, cameras, and lenses is highly preferred.
