Join Schroders’ 10-week Business Transformation Internship to gain hands-on experience in asset management and enterprise-wide change initiatives.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing
- Work within Corporate & Regulatory Change or Group Planning and Transformation Office (GPTO) teams on live projects as Junior Consultant, Junior Business Analyst, or Project Management Support.
- Support design and delivery of transformation initiatives, business analysis, or project coordination depending on placement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to assist with documentation, communications, and governance processes.
- Own and deliver an internally focused project with a fellow intern to solve business challenges or create sustainable value.
- Engage with enterprise-wide initiatives spanning multiple business areas and learn from experienced professionals.
About You
The company is looking for
- Penultimate year student with an honours degree or equivalent (any subject, predicted grade not required).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across teams.
- Collaborative, relationship-oriented, and able to build trusted connections.
- Inquisitive with genuine interest in investment management, change, and industry trends.
- Innovative, analytical and ability to apply critical thinking – enjoy thinking ‘creatively’ and applying a fresh perspective, particularly using AI.
- Proactive, organised, adaptable, resilient, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-starter with strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Growth mindset, eager to learn, embrace feedback, and pursue professional development.
- Problem solver able to manage both detailed and big-picture perspectives.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Available to start on 15 June 2026 and complete the 10-week programme ending 21 August 2026.
- No prior change or investment management experience required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: £37,000 (pro-rated for internship duration)
