Legal & General offers an 8-week Risk internship to develop skills in financial risk analysis and regulatory compliance within a leading global financial services group.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include
- Working closely with Risk teams to identify and assess potential financial risks to the business
- Supporting monitoring and assessment of business compliance with regulatory rules and requirements
- Conducting research on industry trends and best practices and analysing data
- Assisting in preparing reports and management information for senior management
- Participating in meetings and contributing to risk management discussions
- Learning new skills and gaining knowledge of the business operations
About You
What you'll need
- Penultimate-year undergraduate student graduating in 2027
- 2:1 degree in a finance-related or numerate subject
- Interest in risk and alignment with L&G's purpose
- Proactive, inquisitive, critical thinker, enthusiastic, organised, and methodical
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, comfortable with PowerPoint and Word
- Friendly, approachable, and able to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid right to work in the UK
