This role sits within our financial services practice in the DIFC – the heart of the region’s banking and capital markets ecosystem – working directly alongside an experienced consultant to grow a high-performing desk.
The Role
We are looking for a driven, relationship-led Recruitment Consultant to run a 360 financial services desk in Dubai. You will own the full recruitment lifecycle but also working on the companies major accounts from day 1 including some of the biggest names in banking.
You will recruit across financial services disciplines such as banking and private banking, asset and wealth management all at a senior level from Director to Managing Director and Market Head.
Key Responsibilities
- Business development & client management
- Identify, win and grow client relationships across the DIFC and wider GCC financial services market.
- Take detailed briefs, advise clients on market conditions, salary benchmarks and realistic hiring strategy.
- Build long-term, consultative partnerships that generate repeat and referral business rather than one-off transactions.
- Candidate sourcing & assessment
- Proactively headhunt and map talent using LinkedIn, our internal database, referrals and targeted market research and our extensive technology stack.
- Screen, interview and assess candidates for technical fit, motivation and cultural alignment to the client.
- Maintain and grow a live pipeline of qualified candidates, in line with Ateca’s commitment to deliver fully vetted shortlists quickly.
- Delivery & deal management
- Manage the end-to-end process – interviews, feedback, references and compliance through to offer and onboarding.
- Negotiate offers, manage candidate and client expectations, and close placements professionally.
- Keep CRM/ATS records accurate and contribute to a clean, reliable data picture of your market.
- What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Typically 2–5 years in agency recruitment, executive search or a 360 sales role; financial or professional services exposure is a strong advantage.
- Track record: Evidence of billing, placements or revenue generation, and confidence managing a desk with growing independence.
- Commercial drive: A natural relationship-builder who is comfortable with business development, targets and the resilience the job demands.
- Market interest: Genuine curiosity about banking, finance and fintech – and the drive to become a credible expert in your niche.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal English; professional, consultative and able to influence senior stakeholders.
- Location: Able to be based full-time in our DIFC officeRegional or international market experience and additional languages (e.g. Arabic) are desirable but not essential.
