Amazon's grocery business is scaling rapidly across Europe - and the perishable supply chain that supports it needs to scale with it. We are looking for a strategic Supply Chain Manager to own the long-term network plan for EU perishable distribution, defining how perishable product reaches customers across international markets.
This role sits within the Perishable Distribution Strategy team in WW Grocery Supply Chain and Tech (WWGST). You will build the multi-year roadmap for EU perishable infrastructure - from DC placement and capacity phasing through sourcing topology and last-mile delivery design. This is a builder role.

Key job responsibilities Own the international perishable distribution strategy end-to-end - from problem definition through leadership alignment and execution planning Build complex network models to evaluate topology options, capacity timing, and CapEx trade-offs across multiple international markets Partner with NA program owners to determine which capabilities transfer to international and which require local adaptation Drive goal alignment with technology teams to secure engineering resources for international programs Develop and present strategy documents to VP-level leadership, translating ambiguous opportunities into clear investment decisions Work autonomously across time zones and organizations to understand local market constraints, regulatory requirements, and banner-specific needs Identify and mitigate risks proactively - particularly around resourcing windows, technology dependencies, and timeline misalignment between regions
The Perishable Distribution Strategy team owns long-range planning for Amazon's perishable supply chain - the network of temperature-controlled distribution centers, consolidation hubs, and delivery infrastructure that gets fresh product to customers. We define where to build, what to build, and when - balancing customer experience, cost efficiency, and speed of execution.
Our work directly shapes the physical infrastructure behind Amazon's grocery businesses globally.
