The Program Manager, Disability Inclusion plays a pivotal role in advancing the University's commitment to creating an inclusive, accessible and high-performing community where everyone can thrive. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Diversity and Inclusion, you will lead the implementation and evaluation of the University's disability inclusion agenda, translating strategic priorities into measurable outcomes.
Operating within a complex regulatory and governance environment, you will provide expert program leadership across planning, governance, compliance, stakeholder engagement and financial management, ensuring the University meets its legislative obligations while driving meaningful and lasting organisational change.
Your key responsibilities will be to:lead the delivery of the University's disability inclusion program, driving strategic initiatives that improve accessibility, participation and inclusion across the institutiondevelop and oversee program frameworks, governance structures and reporting processes to ensure effective implementation, compliance and measurable outcomespartner with senior leaders, staff, students and external stakeholders to build engagement, influence decision-making and advance disability inclusion prioritiesmonitor program performance, risks and benefits, using data and evidence-based insights to drive continuous improvement and achieve strategic objectivesmanage program budgets, resources and external funding opportunities, ensuring responsible financial stewardship and sustainable program deliveryprovide inclusive leadership and capability development, fostering a high-performing team culture focused on collaboration, accountability and positive inclusion outcomesAbout youpostgraduate qualifications in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experiencedemonstrated experience leading complex programs or portfolios of work, with expertise in governance, compliance, risk management and strategic deliverystrong knowledge of disability inclusion legislation, policy frameworks and regulatory reporting requirements, ideally within higher education or a similarly regulated environmentexceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and drive outcomes without direct authorityhighly developed analytical, problem-solving and program management skills, with experience translating complex requirements into practical and sustainable solutionsproven people leadership and financial management experience, including developing high-performing teams, managing budgets and delivering outcomes in complex organisational settingsSponsorship / work rights for Australia You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply.
