• Salary: €45,000 - €65,000We're looking for a fully Qualified Accountant to join an established and growing hospitality business in Galway.
• This is a hands-on commercial finance role where you'll work closely with the General Manager and operational teams, providing accurate financial information and insight to support the performance of the business.

Hospitality experience would be a key advantage.

Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
• Providing financial analysis and commercial insight to support decision-making
• Supporting annual budgets, forecasting and weekly cashflow management
• Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable and creditor reconciliations
• Monitoring costs, financial performance and profitability
• Maintaining strong financial controls and improving finance processes
• Completing Revenue returns and statutory reporting
• Supporting the annual external audit
• Working closely with General Managers and operational managers on financial matters
• Supporting finance projects and dealing with ad hoc financial queries

Requirements

• Is a fully Qualified Accountant
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Ideally has previous hospitality experience
• Has experience preparing monthly management accounts
• Has strong experience with balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting
• Is organised, detail-focused and comfortable working to tight deadlines
• Experience with accounting/purchasing systems, budgeting, forecasting and Revenue compliance would be an advantage
